Arman Postadzhiyan, MD, PhD, FESC, FACC

 

Arman Postadzhiyan is a professor of cardiology and a head of the Department of cardiology at Saint Anne University hospital, Sofia, Bulgaria. Dr. Postadzhiyan earned his medical degree and completed his residency and specialization in internal diseases and cardiology in Medical University of Sofia. He also completed a fellowship in a noninvasive and invasive cardiology.

 

Dr. Postadzhiyan’s research interests include preventive cardiology, acute coronary syndromes and advanced techniques in cardiac and peripheral intervention with many participations in clinical trials as investigator/PI – REACH registry, HYVET, CEPHEUS, CURRENT, PLATO, PEGASUS. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and American College of Cardiology. Past president of the Bulgarian Society of Cardiology 2016-2018 and since 2019 president of the Bulgarian Hypertension League. Since 2024 dr. Postadzhiyan is member of regional advisory group of the International Society of Hypertension. National lead investigator for the ISH – May Measurement Month and EAS – FH Studies Collaboration. Member of scientific committee of the ISVH and steering committee of the International Lipid Expert Panel.
